Duane Reade Engages Shoppers with an App

The retailer is testing a new update for its iPhone App in several of its locations.

Duane Reade has released the first update for its iPhone App, and is currently testing shoppers’ engagement with it, in ten of its retail locations in Manhattan.

The update includes an integration of Apple’s iBeacon technology, which adds several shopper-friendly features including Weekly Ads & Coupons; Pill Reminder; DR Walk-In, Preferred Store, Shopping List, Steps and QuickPrints from Instagram.
